Putin signed law on budget for 2019 and 2020-2021 planned period

The budget surplus in 2019 will amount to 1.8% GDP, in 2020 - to 1.1% of GDP

MOSCOW, November 30. /TASS/. President Vladimir Putin signed the law on Russia’s federal budget for 2019 and the planned period of 2020-2021. The State Duma and the Federation Council (two chambers of the Russian parliament) adopted the document on November 21 and November 23 respectively. The law was published on the official portal of legal information.

According to the budget law, revenues in 2019 are expected at the level of 19.969 trillion rubles ($303.34 bln), in 2020 - 20.219 trillion rubles ($307.09 bln), in 2021 - 20.978 trillion rubles ($318.62 bln). The expenses are planned in the amount of 18.037 trillion rubles ($273.95 bln), 18.994 trillion rubles ($288.48 bln) and 20.026 trillion rubles ($304.12 bln), respectively.

The budget surplus in 2019 will amount to 1.932 trillion rubles ($29.34 bln) or 1.8% of GDP, in 2020 - 1.224 trillion rubles ($18.59 bln) or 1.1% of GDP, in 2021 - 952 bln rubles ($14.46 bln) or 0.8% of GDP.

The volume of the National Wealth Fund at the beginning of 2019 will amount to 3.818 trillion rubles ($57.9 bln) or 3.6% of GDP, 2020 - 7.907 trillion rubles ($120.09 bln) or 7.1% of GDP, in 2021 - 11.476 trillion rubles ($174.3 bln) or 9.7% of GDP.

Inflation in Russia in 2019 is projected at 4.3%, in 2020 - 3.8%, in 2021 - 4%. The average annual exchange rate of the dollar in 2019 is expected to reach 63.9 rubles, in 2020 - 63.8 rubles, in 2021 - 64 rubles.
