MOSCOW, December 24. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces have lost up to 100 military personnel in the Krasny Liman area in the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"In the Krasny Liman area, units of the Battlegroup Center, supported by artillery fire and operational-tactical aircraft, repelled two attacks by the 63rd Mechanized Brigade and the 12th Special Forces Group of the Ukrainian army south of Kuzmino and near the Chervonaya Dibrova settlement in the Lugansk People's Republic. In addition, Ukraine’s manpower and military hardware were hit near the Serebryanka locality of the Donetsk People's Republic and in the Serebryanka forestry," the ministry said.

It added that the losses of the enemy in that area amounted to up to 100 servicemen. Ukrainian troops also lost one armored combat vehicle, two vehicles, as well as a D-30 howitzer.
