One Syrian soldier killed in terrorists’ shelling attacks

"One Syrian soldier was killed as a result of shelling attacks from the positions of illegal armed groups on the positions of government forces near the settlement of Tanjara in the Latakia governorate," Vadim Kulit said

MOSCOW, November 10. /TASS/. One Syrian soldier was killed as a result of shelling attacks by terrorist groups during the day, Vadim Kulit, deputy chief of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Parties in Syria (a division of the Russian defense ministry), said on Friday.

"One Syrian soldier was killed as a result of shelling attacks from the positions of illegal armed groups on the positions of government forces near the settlement of Tanjara in the Latakia governorate," he said, adding that three shelling attacks were reported in the Idlib de-escalation zone during the past day.

He also said that aircraft and drones of the US-led anti-terrorist coalitions violated Syria’s airspace in the al-Tanf area, across which international air routes run, six times during the day. Apart from that, two violations of the deconfliction protocols of December 9, 2019 linked with the flights by the coalition drones were reported in Syria in the past 24 hours.
