The Russian military industrial commission’s board approved a program through 2027 and for the period until 2032 for creating drone systems and a schedule of its implementation

MOSCOW, April 1. /TASS/. Russia’s defense procurement plan was at least 88% fulfilled last year, according to a statement posted on the government’s website on Friday.

"Beginning with last year, the fulfilment of the defense procurement plan is for the first time assessed in terms of the number of fulfilled defense procurement plan assignments rather than in terms of the funds spent. The defense procurement plan was 88-100% fulfilled in 2021 as estimated by various governmental customers," the statement says.

The Russian military industrial commission’s board also approved a program through 2027 and for the period until 2032 for creating drone systems and a schedule of its implementation.

"The board of the Russian military industrial commission heard the results of the fulfillment of the defense procurement plan and approved a draft of the inter-agency comprehensive target program, ‘Creation of Systems with Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (Unmanned Aircraft Systems) Through 2027 and for the Period Until 2032’ and the schedule of its implementation," the statement reads.
