MINSK, March 3. /TASS/. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has extended greetings to Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, who also serves as the chair of the Union State Council of Ministers, on the occasion of his birthday, the Belarusian presidential press office reported on Sunday.
Mishustin, who serves in the post of the Russian prime minister since 2020, is celebrating his 58th birthday on Saturday.
"Being subjected to the unprecedented pressure of sanctions, the Russian government under your leadership is effectively responding to present-day challenges, ensuring sustainable growth of the Russian economy," the Belarusian president said in his congratulatory message to Mishustin.
President Lukashenko added that Mishustin's loyalty to the ideals of goodness and justice, along with the "remarkable efficiency and inexhaustible vitality will contribute to the development of a strong and prosperous Russia, as well as to the rapprochement of our countries [Belarus and Russia] and peoples.".
