Brazil-Russia relations promote dialogue within BRICS — MFA Secretary General

MOSCOW, February 27. /TASS/. Relations between Russia and Brazil are developing and help foster dialogue within BRICS, Brazilian Foreign Ministry Secretary General Maria Laura da Rocha said at the 12th meeting of the Intergovernmental Russia-Brazil Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.

"As far as bilateral relations between our countries are concerned, these relations have been developing continuously for a long time. It is not only about bilateral relations, they contribute to relations with other countries, and within BRICS," she said.

"Our commission has shown that we can further contribute to making relations better. The results of the work of the working groups will be announced. I am sure that all the main points and all the problems will be reconciled, and we will find some formulas for them," the diplomat added.

Meanwhile, da Rocha expressed confidence that the meeting of the intergovernmental commission will promote contacts between the governments and business circles of the two countries.
