US mounts arms deliveries to Israel

NEW YORK, November 15. /TASS/. The United States continues to mount military aid to Israel despite official calls to avoid civilian casualties in the Gaza Strip, Bloomberg reports quoting Pentagon documents it obtained.

As for the end of October, Israel received 36 thousand 30mm shells and close to two thousand Hellfire missiles for AH-64E Apache helicopters, 1.8 thousand M141 grenade launchers and at least 3500 night vision devices.

The Pentagon said it uses several supply sources, including its own stocks and industrial channels to guarantee sufficient self-defense to Israel.

Bloomberg said Israel had requested over 57 thousand 155mm high-power fragmentation artillery shells, 20 thousand M4A1 rifles, five thousand night vision devices, three thousand M141 grenade launchers, 400 120mm mortars, 75 light tactical JLTV vehicles and 200 Switchblade 6000 loitering munitions.

The White House has requested the Congress to provide additional $106 billion dollars for aid to Ukraine and Israel and other purposes.
