Some 70% of Palestinians driven out of their homes since October 7 — UNRWA

GENEVA, November 7. /TASS/. At least 70% of people in the Gaza Strip have fled their homes since October 7 amid hostilities, United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) said on Tuesday.

"One month on, 70% of the Gaza population have been displaced. This comes with constant fear and inhumane living conditions for almost 1.5 million people," it wrote on it X (formerly known as Twitter) page.

"Civilians are being subjected to forced displacement & collective punishment," it noted, adding that UNRWA shelters are "4 x their full capacity."
