Houthi say they hit Israel with missiles, drones

According to Houthi spokesman Yahya Saria, the movement "will continue to deliver more qualitative strikes with missiles and drones until the Israeli aggression is stopped"

DUBAI, October 31. /TASS/. Yemen’s Ansar Allah (Houthi) rebel movement claims that it has staged drone and missile attacks on Israel.

"Our armed forces launched a large batch of ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as a lot of drones at various enemy targets on Israel-occupied territories," Houthi spokesman Yahya Saria told the Al Masirah television channel.

According to Saria, it was "the third operation in support of oppressed brothers in Palestine." The Houthi, in his words, "will continue to deliver more qualitative strikes with missiles and drones until the Israeli aggression is stopped."

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said earlier that sirens warning about an enemy aircraft had sounded near Eilat in southern Israel. Later, Israel’s Kan radio station said that a drone had been launched from Yemen and shot down over the Red Sea.

On October 27, Egyptian air defense systems intercepted two drones over the northeastern part of the Sinai Peninsula, which were flying northward from the southern part of the Red Sea. Shortly before this, the Israeli foreign ministry said that the Houthi had struck Egypt with missiles and drones.
