TEL AVIV, October 23. /TASS/. Southern Israel has come under fire from the Palestinian radical organization Hamas in an attack that ended a 15-hour lull, the Israel Defense Forces said.
Air raid sirens sounded in the major city of Ashkelon, as well as in the vicinity of Be'er Sheva, the largest city in the Negev desert in southern Israel, the IDF said on Telegram. It didn’t say whether the projectiles inflicted any damage.
Last time the military reported a bombardment of Israel from the Gaza Strip was at 21:01 local time on October 22. Air raid sirens sounded in the town of Netivot at the time.
