BUDAPEST, April 4. /TASS/. Hungary plans to warn its NATO allies that it’s necessary to do all it takes to prevent a direct conflict with Russia, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said on Tuesday, upon his arrival to Brussels for a meeting with his NATO counterparts.

"The meeting of NATO foreign ministers is about to start. We have come here in the hope that no one will cast doubt on the relevance of our earlier joint decision that NATO isn’t a party to the war that is going on in our neighborhood and that we need to do everything possible to avert a direct conflict between NATO and Russia," the Hungarian foreign minister wrote on Facebook (banned in Russia as it’s owned by Meta Corporation, which is designated as extremist in Russia).
