UN representatives can see how Ukrainian POWs are treated — Putin

MOSCOW, April 26. /TASS/. Russia is ready to provide UN and Red Cross representatives with the opportunity to have a look at conditions for treatment of Ukrainian POWs.

"If there is a desire, dear Secretary-General, for representatives of the Red Cross, representatives of the United Nations to see how they [Ukrainian prisoners] are kept, where and how the wounded people are provided with help - welcome, we are ready," the Russian leader said.

"This is the simplest solution for this tough, at first thought, issue," Putin noted. The Russian President suggested discussing this topic.
