MOSCOW, January 1. /TASS/. Russia’s current unemployment rate is the lowest ever - 2.9%, while people's real incomes have grown, President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with military personnel at the Vishnevsky hospital.

"We have the lowest unemployment rate in the history of Russia - 2.9%. This has never happened before. And the real incomes of the population have grown," he stated.
