MOSCOW, December 7. /TASS/. The strengthening of Turkey’s air defense by NATO may hinder the establishment of an antiterrorist coalition, Russian Ambassador to NATO Alexander Grushko said on Monday during the Moscow-Brussels video conference.
"We are not certain that these measures [aimed at reinforcing Turkish air defense forces] will strictly correspond to the task of neutralising possible challenges from terrorist organisations," Grushko said. "If by the NATO efforts Turkey tries to contain Russia, this will be an obstacle to the establishment of an international coalition against terrorism."
