MOSCOW, December 26. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar will discuss the situation in Ukraine and the Middle East, as well as the priorities of Russia’s chairmanship in BRICS, at the talks in Moscow in December 27, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
"On December 27, Moscow will host negotiations between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar. The ministers will exchange positions on current international issues. They will touch upon the topic of interaction within the UN, the SCO, the G20, and will discuss priorities of Russia's BRICS chairmanship in the coming year," the ministry said.
"An in-depth exchange of views is expected on the issues of forming a fair security architecture in the Asia-Pacific region, the situation in Ukraine and Afghanistan, as well as the Palestinian-Israeli confrontation," the statement said.
