MOSCOW, November 29. /TASS/. Russian troops liberated the community of Artyomovskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) over the past day in the special military operation in Ukraine, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on Wednesday.
"In the Donetsk direction, units of the southern battlegroup supported by aircraft and artillery fire improved their forward edge positions and liberated the settlement of Artyomovskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said in a statement.

Russian forces repelled a Ukrainian army attack in the Kupyansk area over the past day, the ministry reported.
"In the Kupyansk direction, units of the western battlegroup conducted active operations with the support of aircraft and artillery fire and repelled an attack by assault groups of the enemy’s 57th motorized infantry brigade near the settlement of Liman Perviy in the Kharkov Region. The enemy’s losses amounted to 20 personnel, two infantry fighting vehicles, two US-made HMMWV vehicles, two motor vehicles and an Akatsiya self-propelled artillery gun," the ministry said.

Russian forces repulsed two Ukrainian army attacks in the Krasny Liman area, eliminating roughly 80 enemy troops over the past day, the ministry reported.
"In the Krasny Liman direction, units of the battlegroup Center supported by army aircraft repulsed two attacks by assault groups of the Ukrainian army’s 21st mechanized brigade and 12th special operations brigade in areas near the settlement of Yampolovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Serebryansky forestry," the ministry said.
The Ukrainian army’s losses in the Krasny Liman direction over the past 24 hours amounted to "80 personnel and two motor vehicles," it specified.

"Over the past 24 hours, three attacks by assault groups of the Ukrainian army’s 24th mechanized, 77th airmobile and 5th assault brigades were repulsed in areas near the settlements of Shumy, Artyomovskoye and Kleshcheyevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said.

"The enemy lost as many as 250 personnel, five tanks and 12 motor vehicles," the ministry said.
In counter-battery fire, Russian troops destroyed an M109 Paladin self-propelled artillery gun and an M777 artillery system of US manufacture, two D-30 howitzers, one D-20 howitzer, a Grad multiple rocket launcher, a Bukovel-AD jamming station and an MLRS ammunition depot, the ministry specified.

Russian forces inflicted damage on two Ukrainian army brigades in the south Donetsk area, destroying roughly 160 enemy troops over the past day, the ministry reported.
"In the south Donetsk direction, units of the battlegroup East acting in interaction with aircraft and artillery repelled an attack by assault groups of the Ukrainian army’s 79th air assault brigade near the settlement of Novomikhailovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic. In areas near the settlements of Ugledar, Antonovka and Nikolskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic, they inflicted damage on the personnel of the Ukrainian army’s 72nd mechanized brigade and 128th territorial defense brigade," the ministry said.
The enemy’s losses in the south Donetsk direction over the past 24 hours totaled as many as 160 personnel, two armored combat vehicles, three motor vehicles and a Grad multiple rocket launcher, the ministry specified.
Russian forces strike three Ukrainian army brigades in Zaporozhye area over past day
Russian forces inflicted damage on three Ukrainian army brigades in the Zaporozhye area, killing and wounding roughly 55 enemy troops over the past day, the ministry reported.
"In the Zaporozhye direction, units of the Russian battlegroup, air strikes and artillery fire inflicted damage on manpower of the Ukrainian army’s 128th mountain assault, 33rd mechanized and 71st infantry brigades in areas near the settlements of Kamenskoye and Rabotino in the Zaporozhye Region," the ministry said.
The Ukrainian army’s losses in the Zaporozhye direction over the past 24 hours amounted to 55 personnel killed and wounded, three armored combat vehicles, seven motor vehicles and a US-made M777 artillery system, the ministry specified.

In the Kherson direction, Russian forces, artillery fire and air strikes destroyed as many as 55 Ukrainian personnel, two motor vehicles, two Msta-B howitzers and two D-20 artillery guns, the ministry reported.

Russian forces destroyed a Ukrainian radar production workshop, fuel and air-launched ammunition depots over the past day, the ministry reported.
"The strikes destroyed an assembly workshop of radar production and repair, P-18 and S-300 surface-to-air missile system radars, fuel and air-launched ammunition depots," the ministry said.
During the last 24-hour period, operational/tactical and army aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile troops and artillery of the Russian groupings of forces wiped out enemy manpower and military hardware in 107 areas, the ministry reported.

Russian combat aircraft shot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter jet in the Donetsk People’s Republic over the past day, the ministry reported.
"Fighter aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces downed a Ukrainian Air Force MiG-29 plane and intercepted a US-made HARM anti-radar missile near the settlement of Mezhevoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said.
Russian air defenses down Ukrainian Su-25 attack aircraft in DPR over past day
Russian air defense forces shot down a Ukrainian Su-25 ground attack aircraft in the Donetsk People’s Republic over the past day, the ministry reported.
"Air defense capabilities shot down a Ukrainian Air Force Su-25 plane near the settlement of Novoolenevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic. They intercepted 11 rockets of the HIMARS and Uragan multiple launch rocket systems," the ministry said statement.
During the last 24-hour period, Russian air defense systems destroyed 38 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in areas near the settlements of Novoolenevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Berestovoye in the Kharkov Region, Belogorovka, Novonikolskoye, Verkhnekamenka and Kremennaya in the Lugansk People’s Republic, Novaya Kakhovka in the Kherson Region, Ulyanovka and Romanovskoye in the Zaporozhye Region, the ministry reported.
In all, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 544 Ukrainian warplanes, 255 helicopters, 9,301 unmanned aerial vehicles, 442 surface-to-air missile systems, 13,687 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,187 multiple rocket launchers, 7,205 field artillery guns and mortars and 15,746 special military motor vehicles since the start of the special military operation in Ukraine, the ministry reported.
