Russian diplomats collect, hand over humanitarian aid for residents of Israel’s south

The handover took place at a collection point in northern part of Tel Aviv

TEL AVIV, October 26. /TASS/. Russian diplomats and their families collected humanitarian aid for civilians from southern parts of Israel, who had to leave their homes due to the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, and handed this humanitarian aid over to Israeli volunteer organizations.

"On October 26, a handover of humanitarian aid for Israeli civilians, who had to temporarily leave their homes in southern parts of the country, took place under the initiative of the Russian Embassy in Tel Aviv and the Russian House in Israel. Russian diplomats and their family members collected essential goods, including clothes, blankets, kitchen utensils, children’s clothes. All humanitarian aid was handed over to Israeli volunteer organizations," the Russian embassy told reporters. The handover took place at a collection point in northern part of Tel Aviv.

According to the head of the Russian House in Israel German Granovsky, the Russian House has already carried out several humanitarian events and plans several more events in the upcoming days.
