MOSCOW, October 24. /TASS/. About 10,000 mercenaries have fought in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the beginning of the special military operation, and up to 3,000 of them have already been destroyed, a representative of the security forces told TASS.

"In total, about 10,000 mercenaries were fighting in the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Up to 3,000 of them have been destroyed," the source said, adding that about 5,000 mercenaries had left Ukraine.

The representative of the security forces also noted that after the aggravation of the situation in the Middle East, an outflow of foreign mercenaries is noticeable, which is caused by the high level of earnings in the fields of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the relative safety of such "work".
