The current actions of the Ukrainian regime leave no doubt that bandits are at the helm in the country, to whom the West is pumping weapons and who are doing everything to change the actual course of events, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Thursday.

"The [Kiev’s] regime now leaves no doubt that bandits are at the helm [in the country], to whom the West is now supplying weapons, bandits who are hiding behind civilians, hiding in residential neighbourhoods, apartments and houses, [and] doing everything to form a certain picture," the diplomat noted.

According to the diplomat, everything is done with the manipulation of public consciousness and "with the colossal support of special services in the US, the UK and NATO countries".
