Georgia's foreign trade turnover rises by 5.5% in January-October

Meanwhile, exports surpassed $5.4 bln (+7.4%), and imports - $13.5 bln (+4.8%)

TBILISI, November 13. /TASS/. Georgia's foreign trade in January-October 2024 amounted to over $19 bln, which is 5.5% more than the same figure in 2023, the country's National Statistics Service reported.

For 10 months of this year, foreign trade turnover reached $19,022.4 mln, which is 5.5% more than the same bln of the previous year.

Meanwhile, exports surpassed $5.4 bln (+7.4%), and imports - $13.5 bln (+4.8%). The negative balance of trade for this period exceeded $8 bln, which is 42.5% of the total turnover.
