MOSCOW, March 12. /TASS/. US-based investment company BlackRock lowered its ownership stake of stocks in gold miner Polymetal from 7.44% to 4.01%, Polymetal said.
Stocks were sold on March 4. The largest shareholder of Polymetal is Oman-based Maaden International Investment with the 23.9% stake. 75% of stocks are freely floating at the Astana International Exchange and the Moscow Exchange.
On March 11, Polymetal informed about closing the deal of selling 1005 of shares in its Russian assets holding to Mangazeya Plus company. Polymetal is currently the second largest gold miner in Kazakhstan.
