MOSCOW, March 7. /TASS/. The Russian government has renewed the temporary ban on rapeseed exports until August 31, 2024.
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree to that effect, the Cabinet said on its official Telegram channel.
Earlier restrictions of rapeseed exports were in effect from September 1, 2023 to February 29, 2024.
This will make possible to provide for capacity utilization of domestic rapeseed oil producers and support the animal-breeding sector with required products of processing this crop.
Temporary restrictions will not apply to rapeseed exports to member-nations of the Eurasian Economic Union, Abkhazia and South Ossetia. The export ban will not also cover rapeseed exports within the framework of international intergovernmental agreements and humanitarian aid to foreign countries.
