MOSCOW, January 16. /TASS/. Russia’s foreign trade surplus went down to $126.9 bln in January-November 2023 from $310.1 bln in the same period in 2022, according to figures released on the website of the Federal Customs Service.
Russia’s exports decreased to $385.9 bln in the reporting period from $538.1 bln, while imports rose to $259 bln from $228 bln. Exports to European countries fell to $78.4 bln from $248.3 bln, while imports went down to $71.7 bln from $80.7 bln.
Exports to Asian countries increased to $276.1 bln from $257.1 bln, while imports - to $169.9 bln from $128.7 bln.
Trade with African countries grew as well as exports went up to $19.8 bln from $12.9 bln, while imports - to $3 bln from $2.8 bln. Meanwhile Russian exports to the Americas dropped to $11.4 bln from $18.8 bln, while imports fell to $13.7 from $15.2 bln.
