MOSCOW, November 8. /TASS/. Russia increased food exports by 19% year-on-year since the beginning of 2023, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Marina Afonina said.
"Exports are also increasing. According to preliminary statistics, exports of food products increased by 19% year-on-year," she said.
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko announced that exports of Russian agricultural products rose by 12% year-on-year to more than $41.5 bln in 2022, while exports to friendly nations increased by a quarter to $34 bln. According to the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, agricultural exports from Russia will exceed $45 bln by the end of 2023.
