MOSCOW, October 24. /TASS/. The Russian processing industry will show growth of about 7% by the end of this year, Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov said at the meeting with President Vladimir Putin.
"We see that positive dynamics continues. According to forecasts of the Ministry of Economic Development, processing industry is to demonstrate growth of about 7%, Manturov said. The growth rate was 6.2% in the first half of this year, he noted.
Automotive and woodworking industries are recovering and have sound growth of indicators, the deputy prime minister added. "What is very important, our businesses have the record high accumulated amount of loans - 15 trillion rubles ($159.5 bln). This is for operations and for development. It is 35% higher than in the previous period," Manturov stressed.
