Moscow, Tehran discuss swap supplies of oil, gas, says Russian Deputy PM Novak

Earlier, Alexander Novak told reporters Moscow and Tehran might reach an agreement on swap supplies of oil and gas by the end of 2022

GROZNY, November 1. /TASS/. Russia and Iran have discussed swap supplies of oil and gas within the framework of the meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told TASS.

"[Swap supplies] have already been discussed," he said.

Earlier, Novak told reporters Moscow and Tehran might reach an agreement on swap supplies of oil and gas by the end of 2022, adding that the first stage might imply the delivery of 5 mln tonnes of oil and up to 10 bln cubic meters of gas.
