Shoigu inspects defense industry enterprises in Nizhny Novgorod

MOSCOW, March 21. /TASS/. Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu has checked the implementation of the state defense order by enterprises in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the Defense Ministry said.

"Russian Defense Minister, Army General Sergey Shoigu has checked the implementation of the state defense order by defense industry enterprises in the Nizhny Novgorod Region," the ministry said.

The minister inspected the production of aircraft weapons, as well as artillery and tank shells of various caliber. The general director of the plant reported to Army General Sergey Shoigu that the enterprise carries out the task under the state defense order in full, having significantly stepped up production since the beginning of the current year," it said.
