MOSCOW, January 7. /TASS/. Russian forces on the southern Donetsk direction inflicted damage on personnel of three Ukrainian armed forces brigades near Novomikhaylovka, Staromayorskoye, Ugledar (DPR) and Priyutnoye (Zaporozhye Region), the Russian Defense Ministry reported, adding that the enemy lost up to 130 servicemen and a tank.

"On southern Donetsk direction, competent actions of battlegroup East, with support of aviation and artillery fire, inflicted damage to personnel of 79th Air Assault, 72th Mechanized and 128th territorial defense brigades near Novomikhaylovka, Staromayorskoye, Ugledar (DPR) and Priyutnoye (Zaporozhye Region). The enemy lost up to 130 servicemen, a tank, two armored combat vehicles and two automobile vehicles," the Ministry said.

The Ministry also said that counter-artillery fire destroyed three Polish-made Krab self-propelled artillery units, two UK-made FH-70 howitzers, two D-30 cannons, two Rapira anti-tank cannons and an ammunition depot.
