MOSCOW, December 24. /TASS/. The Russian Armed Forces' Battlegroup West has repulsed four enemy attacks near Sinkovka in the Kupyansk area over the day, with Ukraine’s losses making up over 40 servicemen and four pieces of military hardware, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"in the Kupyansk area, units of the Battlegroup West acted competently, supported by artillery fire and strikes of the army aircraft, repelling four attacks by assault units of the 95th Airborne Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian army near the village of Sinkovka, Kharkov Region," the ministry said. "The losses of the Ukrainian army amounted to more than 40 servicemen, an armored combat vehicle and three vehicles," the ministry added.

In addition, an ammunition depot of the 113th territorial defense brigade was destroyed in the area of Liptsy, in the Kharkov Region, it said.
