MOSCOW, November 12. /TASS/. Russian forces struck Ukrainian army units in the Donetsk area, killing and wounding roughly 250 enemy troops over the past day in the special military operation in Ukraine, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported on Sunday.
"In the Donetsk direction, units of the southern battlegroup in interaction with aircraft and artillery repelled five enemy attacks near the settlements of Kurdyumovka and Kleshcheyevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic. The Ukrainian army’s losses amounted to 250 personnel killed and wounded, three armored combat vehicles and three pickup trucks," the ministry said in a statement.
In counter-battery fire, Russian troops destroyed a Polish-made Krab self-propelled artillery gun, a US-manufactured M119 howitzer, three D-30 howitzers and a D-20 howitzer, the ministry specified.
