Indian authorities investigate threat to PM Modi’s plane

NEW DELHI, February 12. /TASS/. Police in Mumbai have initiated an investigation after a warning of a potential attack on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s aircraft during his visits to France and the US, the Hindustan Times newspaper reported, citing local law enforcement.

According to officials, Mumbai police received a phone call warning of a possible terrorist attack on Modi’s plane during his travels abroad. The police emphasized "the serious nature" of the threat, passed the information to other agencies, and began an investigation.

India’s PM is currently in France, where he arrived on Monday. He is scheduled to visit the United States next.
