US President was talking to reporters at the White House

WASHINGTON, March 2. /TASS/. US President Joe Biden declined to comment on the prospects for talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on ways to resolve the crisis around Ukraine.

"Talk with Putin? On Ukraine?" Biden said after a TASS correspondent asked whether he thought it was high time to hold talks on peace in Ukraine and for him and the Russian leader to contact each other.

Biden was talking to reporters at the White House.
