Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy announced an end to his presidential election campaign following the Iowa caucus, endorsing Trump

NEW YORK, January 16. /TASS/. Former US President Donald Trump is in the lead in the Republican caucus in the state of Iowa.

According to the results published on the website of the Republican Party in Iowa, Trump received 51% of the vote with ballots from 92 out of the state’s 99 counties counted.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is second with 21.2% and ex-US Permanent Representative to the United Nations Nikki Haley is third with 19.1%. Haley has congratulated Trump on winning the caucus.

Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, who came fourth with 7.7%, has announced an end to his presidential election campaign, endorsing Trump.
