MINSK, December 13. /TASS/. The West has failed to achieve its goals in Belarus, as its face-off with the republic now moves to a more covert phase, Belarusian State Security Committee Head Ivan Tertel told reporters.
"Currently, the goals that they (the West - TASS) tried to achieve post-haste, they have failed to achieve," the BelTA agency quoted Tertel as saying.
According to Tertel, "nothing has changed in terms of our enemy's goals over the past three years." "It's just that this confrontation has moved to a more covert phase. We state that the West has reached a dead end in its previously thought up objective with regard to Belarus. They recognize it," said the head of the Belarusian Security Committee.
