Israel to release 39 Palestinian hostages later on Sunday – Qatari foreign ministry

DUBAI, November 26. /TASS/. Israel will release 39 Palestinian prisoners later in the day under the deal on a humanitarian ceasefire in the Gaza Strip with Hamas, Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman Majed Al Ansari said.

"In implementation of the commitments of the third day of the humanitarian truce agreement, 39 Palestinian civilians will be released in exchange for the release of 13 Israeli civilians from Gaza," he wrote on his X (formerly known as Twitter) account.

Apart from that, in his words, a Russian national and 3 Thais who have been released under agreements between Hamas and mediators. These people are not covered by the humanitarian truce deal, he added.
