Ministry aircraft to deliver 28 more tons of humanitarian aid to Gaza Strip

MOSCOW, November 23. /TASS/. Another batch of humanitarian aid for the Gaza Strip is being delivered by a Russian Emergencies Ministry plane, the agency's press service told TASS.

"A special Il-76 aircraft of the Russian Emergencies Ministry flew from Mineralnye Vody International Airport to the airport of the Egyptian city of El-Arish. The cargo contains food, canned food, bedding, baby food and personal hygiene products and weighs a total of about 28 tons," the Emergencies Ministry said.

The day before, at a meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with members of the government, Emergencies Ministry head Alexander Kurenkov reported that Russia had sent over 245 tons of humanitarian aid to the residents of Gaza.
