Israeli fighter jet intercepts cruise missile outside Eilat

The IDF emphasized that the missile made no unauthorized incursion into Israel’s airspace

TEL AVIV, November 22. /TASS/. An Israeli fighter jet has intercepted a cruise missile near the city of Eilat located on the Red Sea, the Israeli Defense Forces reported.

"Following a report on an incursion of an enemy aircraft near Eilat, a fighter jet successfully intercepted a cruise missile launched in the direction of Israel," the statement said.

The IDF emphasized that the missile made no unauthorized incursion into Israel’s airspace.

Earlier, the military reported that an air-raid warning had been issued in Eilat.
