MOSCOW, November 2. /TASS/. Equatorial Guinea's President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo said he would welcome activities of Russian companies in his country, especially if they operate in the mining industry.
"When Russia promises to send its businessmen to help Africa develop, we can only say: Let them come. And Equatorial Guinea accepts this offer with satisfaction," he said.
The president said that many African countries are still underdeveloped economically due to the exploitation of their resources, so Equatorial Guinea doubly welcomes the activities of Russian companies in developing the country's mining industry.
