Karabakh armed groups turn in over 800 guns — Russian defense ministry

MOSCOW, September 24. /TASS/. Armed groups of Nagorno-Karabakh have turned in more than 800 guns, anti-tank weapons and man-portable air defense systems (MANPADS), as well as around 22,000 units of ammunition, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"In compliance with the previously reached ceasefire agreements, armed formations of Karabakh continued to turn in their weapons and military equipment under the control of Russian peacekeepers," the ministry said in a daily bulletin.

"As of September 23, the following items have been turned in: six armored vehicles; over 800 guns, anti-tank weapons and MANPADS; around 22,000 units of ammunition," the document says.
