Biden to deliver ‘State of the Union’ address in Congress Tuesday

The President will begin his speech at 9:00 pm ET

WASHINGTON, February 7. /TASS/. US President Joe Biden will deliver the tradition "State of the Union" address during the bicameral Congress meeting on Tuesday. He will begin his speech at 21:00 Eastern Time.

During the February 2 briefing, White House Spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre said that Biden will touch upon many issues in his speech, including that "significant economic progress," achieved during Biden’s presidency, as well as his economic vision in general. According to the spokeswoman, the head of state will also tell about the US’ capabilities, especially in economy.

This will be the third such speech for Biden. The first took place in late April 2021, three months after assuming the presidential office, and formally did not qualify it as a "State of the Union" address, although it was indeed similar in contents on many areas.
