On March 25, a Polish citizen residing in Grodno was detained on suspicion of spying for Poland

MINSK, March 25. /TASS/. A Polish national was detained in Belarus’ Grodno on suspicion of espionage, Belarus’ State Security Committee (KGB) said on Friday.

"On March 25, a Polish citizen residing in Grodno was detained on suspicion of spying for Poland," BelTA agency quoted him as saying.

According to the KGB, Poland’s Consul General in Grodno Andrzej Raczkowski and one more diplomat from the Polish consulate general tried to hamper procedural actions in violation of Belarusian laws. "The Belarusian foreign ministry was informed about the illegal actions by the Polish diplomats," it added.
