UNITED NATIONS, March 24. /TASS/. UN General Assembly did not put to vote the South African draft resolution on the situation on Ukraine. Earlier, the General Assembly adopted a Western resolution on Ukraine.

Ukrainian Permanent Representative to the UN claimed that the vote on the South African document was not requested. Meanwhile, the General Assembly Secretariat announced a vote.

Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya pointed out that no-one has a right to interrupt a vote, announced by the chairman.
