MOSCOW, December 11. /TASS/. The Executive Committee of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) has chosen the Chinese city of Chengdu to host the 2027 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships, the FIG press service reports.

The competition will be held from September 23 to October 7, 2027.

Russian and Belarusian gymnasts have been banned from international competition since March 2022 because of the situation in Ukraine. On July 19, the FIG executive committee decided to allow Russians and Belarusians to participate in international competitions as individual neutral athletes from January 1, 2024.
