Dozens killed in Belgorod region as result of shelling by Ukrainian army

According to the governor, the local authorities offer the same financial assistance to the families of civilians killed or wounded as a result of shelling as to the families of servicemen in the zone of the special military operation

NOVO-OGARYOVO, January 24. /TASS/. Twenty-five civilians have been killed and 96 more have been wounded in Russia’s southern Belgorod region as a result of shelling by Ukrainian troops, Belgorod region governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on Tuesday.

"Ukraine, the enemy, continues to shell peaceful settlements. Twenty-five people have been killed and 96 more have been wounded," he said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
