Russian air defense forces prevent Ukraine's provocation in Kursk region — authorities

KURSK, May 23. /TASS/. Russia's air defense forces have prevented a provocation by Ukraine in the Rylsky district of the Kursk region on Monday night, district head Andrey Lisman said.

"Tonight in the Rylsky district Russia’s air defense forces and systems have prevented provocations from the Ukrainian neo-Nazis. All air targets were destroyed," Lisman wrote on his Telegram channel.

On Monday night, residents of Rylsk posted reports on social networks about sounds similar to explosions. Earlier, Ukraine shelled a checkpoint in the Rylsk district, and two Ukrainian drones were shot down.
