Putin to discuss stability of Russia’s information infrastructure with Security Council

The main report on the strategic task of bolstering Russia’s sovereignty in the global infosphere will be delivered by Secretary of Russia’s Security Council Nikolay Patrushev

MOSCOW, May 20. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a session of Russia’s Security Council in a videoconference format on Friday.

As the Kremlin press service reported earlier, it is planned to discuss the issues of increasing the stability and security of the country’s information infrastructure. Additional preventive measures against new threats in the sphere of IT technologies will also be considered.

The main report on the strategic task of bolstering Russia’s sovereignty in the global infosphere will be delivered by Secretary of Russia’s Security Council Nikolay Patrushev, the Kremlin noted. According to information made available to TASS, this report will take place during the closed part of the meeting.
