Russian cosmonauts Fedyayev, Borisov ready for flight to ISS — government commission

According to Roscosmos, the launch of the Crew Dragon spacecraft with the Crew-6 on board is scheduled for the morning of February 27

MOSCOW, February 22. /TASS/. The interdepartmental commission has found Roscosmos cosmonauts Andrey Fedyayev and Konstantin Borisov ready for missions to the International Space Station (ISS), the Yu. A. Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center said on Wednesday.

"According to the results of the commission’s meeting, the Russian members of the Crew-6 mission of the American commercial spacecraft Crew Dragon are prepared for a space flight on the Russian segment of the ISS under the programs of the 68th and 69th long-term expeditions to the ISS," the center said in a news release.

According to Roscosmos, the launch of the Crew Dragon spacecraft with the Crew-6 on board is scheduled for the morning of February 27. Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyayev is a member of the main crew. Konstantin Borisov was appointed Fedyayev's standby.

On July 15, 2022, Roscosmos announced the signing of an agreement on joint cross-flights of Russian cosmonauts and US astronauts to the ISS. Russians will fly on US spacecraft thrice.
