MOSCOW, December 25. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova pointed to the recent opening of NATO’s mission in Germany to coordinate security assistance and training for the Kiev regime as proof that the alliance is directly involved in the Ukrainian conflict.
"The alliance announced the other day that this organization is fully operational and started its activities," she said at a news conference. "The mission will take over the coordination of all Western military assistance to the Kiev regime, including arms deliveries and training for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Paradoxically, NATO continues to deny its involvement in the conflict. According to them, the new organization will operate on the territory of a NATO country, and from the legal point of view, the alliance is only helping to maintain Ukraine's sovereignty."
Such explanations, according to Zakharova, do not stand up to any criticism and are comparable to the way Hitler's regime justified the creation of concentration camps before German and global public opinion.
"Let's call things what they are," the diplomat continued. "On the territory of Germany, which was ordered by the Nuremberg Tribunal to draw the appropriate conclusions and work on the mistakes, a coordination center was opened to assist the terrorist Kiev regime, which is based on neo-Nazi tenets. That is exactly what it is called."
"In reality, NATO is getting ever more closely and deeply involved in the Ukrainian conflict," Zakharova said. "And the creation of special organizations that deal with military assistance to Ukraine means direct participation in supplying and supporting the conflict not just on the side of the Ukrainian armed forces, but also now a terrorist regime that is based on a Nazi core."
