Ukrainian military fires over 50 projectiles at Russia’s Belgorod Region in past day

A self-defense member was injured after drones dropped explosive devices on the village of Gruzskoye in the Borisovsky District; a private house was damaged

BELGOROD, November 25. /TASS/. The Ukrainian army launched over 50 projectiles and about 25 drones at Russia’s borderline Belgorod Region in the past day, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said.

"Air defenses repelled a fixed-wing drone attack on the city of Belgorod; two private houses were damaged. Ten projectiles were fired in two attacks on the settlements of Maisky, Severny, Belomestnoye, Vesyolaya Lopan, Krasnaya Niva, Krasny Khutor, Otradnoye and Schetonovka in the Belgorodsky District. The settlements were also attacked by five drones, three of which were downed by air defenses," he wrote on Telegram, adding that three private houses and four cars had been damaged.

The Stary farming community came under artillery fire in the Volokonovsky District, with attackers firing 22 projectiles. In the Graivoronsky District, 11 projectiles and four drones were launched at the settlements of Gorkovsky, Bezymeno, Kozinka, Mokraya Orlovka and Spodaryushino.

Six projectiles and six drones were launched at the settlements of Krasnaya Yaruga, Grafovka and Demidovka in the Krasnoyaruzhsky District. The attacks damaged two private houses, an apartment building and a shuttle bus. Air defenses shot down two fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles over the Prokhorovsky District.

Four projectiles and four drones were launched at the settlements of Ziborovka and Novaya Tavolzhanka in the Shebekinsky District, damaging an agricultural facility’s building.
