Railroad to Crimea to be alternative to bridge — Putin

"We will continue this work and trains will go right to Sevastopol soon," the Russian leader noted

MOSCOW, March 18. /TASS/. Russia will continue restoring the railroad from the Rostov Region via Donbass and it will be an alternative to the Crimean Bridge, President Vladimir Putin said at a rally show dedicated to the 10th anniversary of Crimea’s reunification with Russia.

"It has been reported to me right in the morning today that the railroad from Rostov [on Don - TASS] to Donetsk, to Mariupol and Berdyansk was restored. We will continue this work and trains will go right to Sevastopol soon. This will be one more, the alternative road instead of the Crimean Bridge," the head of state said.

"We will continue moving on this way, side by side. And this makes us really stronger not in word but in deed," the head of state added.
